Fabio Leimer has completed a deal with GP2 champion team Rapax, as predicted by AUTOSPORT magazine, after flying in testing for the squad last week. Rapax, created from the sometime Piquet Sports outfit, took Pastor Maldonado to the GP2 drivers' title this year and also fended off previous category giants Addax and ART to take the teams' championship. The team's managing director Andrea Bergamini said Leimer had made a big impression when he tested for Rapax over four days in Abu Dhabi and was quickest in most of the sessions.
