Monteiro wins second Valencia race
Tiago Monteiro capitalised on a poor start by pole-sitter Alain Menu to win Sunday's second World Touring Car race at Valencia. The former grand prix driver started third and moved to the outside of front row starters Menu and Fredy Barth, while the fast-starting Andy Priaulx tried the inside. Monteiro settled into a comfortable lead from Barth, just as Menu and Priaulx collided behind.
